“I bought myself a boxful of Fred & Friends products on Black Friday just because they made me smile. All the products shipped quickly and I love them all. This little bowl is one of my favorites out of everything. Yes the glass is thin and full of "indentations" -- that's the whole point. It's supposed to look like an unzipped baggie; it's moulded glass, after all. It's strong and sturdy and doesn't look "cheap;" I have mine sitting on a glass table in my living room filled with m&ms. The opening is plenty big enough for a good-sized adult hand to reach in and grab a fistful of candies without a problem. I wouldn't recommend a glass bowl of any kind for households with small children, but if your kids are older and respectful then I think this would hold up perfectly well to normal use. It's balanced and stable and solid, and darn cute. It makes me happy each time I look at it. :) ”

“this is so cute and i love it seeing it daily on my desk. i use it as a pen/marker/pencil holder. it's a great size since the typical pen holders are fairly narrow and cannot fit all my pens, thick markers, and pencils. it's a great height as well, so i can clearly see what i'm grabbing out of the jar. yah, the glass seems kind of thin, but i still drop my scissors into the jar full of stuff without worrying that i'd crack it. get it and enjoy the product along with the rest of us! ”

“This is adorable. When I got it in the mail, I opened it and set it on the table. When my husband saw it I said "Look, I got what I ordered from amazon!" and he said "what? a plastic bag?" It took him another second or 2 to realize it wasn't real. It's actually bigger than your average sandwich baggie, so it's bigger than I expected. What a cute idea. It is hand-blown glass, so the glass is thin, but it seems thicker than the glass from the 1/2 pint milk carton from F&F.”
